1984 Porsche 944

Well preserved early 944 - unmolested original - only 69k miles. Originally sold October 15, 1983 by Autohaus, Ltd. in Iowa City, Iowa, this early 944 has clearly been well cared for throughout its life. The original owner kept the car for 2 years, when the second owner bought the car October 3, 1985 with 4,850 miles. The second owner cared for the car for the next 30 years, eventually selling it to the third owner on April 26, 2016 at 61,347 miles. We purchased the car from the third owner, sold it in October 2018 at 62,171 miles to its 4th registered owner, then we bought it back from him in 2021, at 69,750 miles. Finished in its original Guards Red paint, with no accident history or evidence of any prior paint or body work. The original leather seats show some age related patina, but are in average to good overall condition. The original phone dial wheels wear Bridgestone Potenza tires with plenty of tread. Most 944s were equipped with a factory sunroof; this example does not have a sunroof, which provides additional headroom and eliminates the potential for sunroof leaks.
